Please read entire listing before purchasing!
What if Cyclops were born with two eyes and one migrated over as they reached adulthood? Like a flounder?
That’s the concept behind Hugo’s design.
This mask is made from Black Lagoon Latex. This is a high quality latex, but it will still trigger a reaction if you are allergic to latex.
This piece will comfortably fit heads up to 24” in circumference. It can fit larger heads if a cut is added to the back to ease the restriction of the neck hole. If you would like me to add a cut up the back, please note that when checking out.
Beware, this mask is huge! Great for tall actors, or those with access to stilts. I’m wearing the mask in the final picture to give some idea of scale. For reference, I am 5’8” and 180 lbs.
I include a foam insert to help fill in the upper head and allow it to sit properly on the wearer’s head.
Vision is through the mouth area.
Caring for your Latex Mask:
Latex is a natural rubber. It will break down eventually, however, if treated properly, this piece will give you years of wear.
Handle gently. While I’ve made every attempt to make this piece as sturdy as possible, it will tear if stretched beyond its capabilities
Store in a temperature controlled environment away from sunlight. Sunlight will cause latex to yellow and break down faster.
Store mask in its proper shape by placing it on a mannequin or with plastic bags inside. If mask becomes deformed, gently heat with a hair dryer on low and reshape into its proper form
Mask can be cleaned with a damp, soft towel. Do not use any solvents or cleaners as they may strip the paint. Clean with a light blotting motion. DO NOT SCRUB
Dust can be removed with an air duster
Mask can be trimmed with a scissors to allow for a better fit or more natural look on the wearer. If trimming, round off any edges. If you need to cut a slit on an overhead mask, use a hole punch at the end of the slit to prevent the mask from tearing.
Don’t pull or tug at the hair. Hair is adhered using a glue on the surface, rough handling will cause this piece to shed.
Use fingers to lightly style/organize hair. Brushing or combing may cause hair to be pulled out.
If the paint gets damaged, it can be touched up with Acrylics
Novelty Use Only. Not for use with children.
Pieces will ship in a box with packing material stuffed in the inside of the mask. This should prevent any major deformations. However, you may need to heat up this piece with a hair dryer in order to get it to snap back to its proper shape after shipping. The box size for this mask is to allow the mask to be shipped without folding it.
Masks are non-returnable, due to their personal nature. Please reach out to me with any questions micah@micahebbe.com
