This mask will be built on my classic goat base. It is a hard resin shell to hold the facial structure and a soft National Fiber Technologies fur hood to complete the look and disguise the wearer’s head. The fur will be in shaggy style, making this goat extra hearty and fluffy. This is a static mask, meaning that the jaw is in a fixed position.
The eyes are glass taxidermy eyes that give this piece are real life of its own.
The horns are a new sculpture that is taller and very textured. Horns are removable for transport. They lock in place using a peg and magnet system. While they are fairly stable, I wouldn’t advise headbanging or any other rowdy activity.
It comes complete with padding and an adjustable 3-point strap system to hold it in place on the wearer’s face. The hood of the mask is extra stretchy and lined to allow for ease of wearing
Be aware that vision is limited in this mask. There are vision ports on the sides of the snout, but they will result in tunnel vision. Performers may need a handler to assist them, depending on their abilities. Under no circumstances should you drive or take part in any potentially dangerous activity in this mask. This mask is decorative, it serves no protective function. BE SAFE!
This mask is an art piece. Do not engage in dangerous activities while wearing this piece. Any misuse may cause injury.
Made in a smoke free studio.
Care and Maintenance:
-Store over some sort of form in a temperature-controlled space. Heat may cause the mask base to warp and the fur to delaminate.
-Do not tug on fur.
-Fur may be lightly brushed. Spot clean with a damp towelette, using a light touch (no scrubbing)
-Do not submerge in water or use soap to clean
-Wearing a balacava underneath this mask will help keep it clean and prolong its life. You may wish to periodically sanitize the interior with anti-bacterial spray.
-Comes with additional padding.
Mask will be completed by the end of August 2025. All supplies will be ordered after deposit is paid, once received the client will receive updates about progress. Remaining 50% and shipping costs will be due upon completion.
