This is a listing for a made to order Faceless mask. You will get one faceless mask, painted to your specifications, with your selected vision requirements. Production time is about 2-4 weeks. This mask is made from Black Lagoon Latex. This is a high quality latex, but it will still trigger a reaction if you are allergic to latex.
The back is held closed by a drawstring elastic closure. Please note that aggressive tugging on the elastic may tear the mask.
This piece is designed to look like a faceless mask- Please use with caution!!
Vision is very limited. While you can still see in well-lit areas, I HIGHLY recommend using a handler to make sure you don’t injure yourself.
Ventilation is very limited. This mask does not have breathing holes, therefore all ventilation is from around the edges of the mask. I include a small piece of foam to place in the chin of the mask to help hold it away from your face and increase the air movement. If you feel lightheaded, or that your breathing is restricted, REMOVE THE MASK IMMEDIATELY.
I am not responsible for any accidents/injuries that may happen while wearing this mask or be caused by someone wearing this mask.
Caring for your Latex Mask:
Latex is a natural rubber. It will break down eventually, however, if treated properly, this piece will give you years of wear.
Handle gently. While I’ve made every attempt to make this piece as sturdy as possible, it will tear if stretched beyond its capabilities
Tighten elastic carefully. Do not pull excessively, as it may tear the mask.
Store in a temperature controlled environment away from sunlight. Sunlight will cause latex to yellow and break down faster.
Store mask in its proper shape by placing it on a mannequin or with plastic bags inside. If mask becomes deformed, gently heat with a hair dryer on low and reshape into its proper form
Mask can be cleaned with a damp, soft towel. Do not use any solvents or cleaners as they may strip the paint. Clean with a light blotting motion. DO NOT SCRUB
Mask can be trimmed with a scissors to allow for a better fit or more natural look on the wearer. If trimming, round off any edges. If you need to cut a slit on an overhead mask, use a hole punch at the end of the slit to prevent the mask from tearing.
If the paint gets damaged, it can be touched up with Acrylics
Pieces will ship in a box with packing material stuffed in the inside of the mask. This should prevent any major deformations. However, you may need to heat up this piece with a hair dryer in order to get it to snap back to its proper shape after shipping. The box size for this mask is to allow the mask to be shipped without folding it.
