Mandragora Maleficorum Mandrake Blank DIY Planter

$38.00

"A Mandrake (Mandragora Maleficorum) or "Devil's Root" is a particularly unique species of the Nightshade family. Abide with care when extracting the root, it may prove to be a formidible companion. Only by singing lullaby to the young root every day for a lunar cycle and then extracting it at midnight on a New Moon, while singing the same song, will it know you as family and friend. Once planted it will provide you with leaves that will soothe and care for your ailes, since it will have formed a protective bond with you. Take care not to upset your Mandragora and it will live a long life whose herbs will grow stronger and stronger as it ages. Beware that if you break this bond, its leaves will turn poisonous and it will become malicious."

-Sister Agnes of Elecelestecles, 1785

This is a DIY kit. This means you get exactly what you see in the the first, unfinished, pictures and you will have to finish this piece yourself. The painted picture is just and example of how it can be finished. It is made of high-quality 3D printed resin which is sturdy enough to be actively handled, but it may crack or the roots may break off if it is dropped. It can easily be painted with acrylic paints or DnD mini-paints. It will need to be finished with plants (fake or real) that you provide. They are not included. This model that can also be used as a planter for your own magical roots. It comes in a light grey resin that has been cured inside and out.

Measures about 6" tall, 3" wide, 2" deep. The opening in the top of the head of the root is about 3/8" in diameter (about the size of a US penny) and it is about 2.75" deep (though there is a small pinch around the shoulder area).

These are fresh off the printer. They have been cleaned and cured, but you may see some slight imperfections from where the supports were removed. They can be lightly sanded off, clipped, or just painted over.

NOTE: These are printed on demand. I set the turn around time for 2 weeks, however, I expect most times to be much less depending on my current printing load. Please send me a convo if you need something within a specific time frame and I will do my best to accommodate.
